Love the outdoor patio. The property is immaculate. Greeting guests at the front door could improve. I totally get why this is a locals favorite. If we lived in High Springs it would be our go to spot.
We are regulars here! It's one of our favorite places to eat. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, yummy food. So much of the food we like but one of our favorites has to be the BLUE CHIPS, very unique and tasty. But we have tried almost everything on the menu, and pretty much like it all. Ask for the chefs special, sometimes it's amazing! Also they have a monster dessert ice cream cookie thing!!! OMG good.
Had Tues. night 1/2 price burgers. Food was good. Waitress was excellent! Find the prices a bit on the high side
Update: tonight they had crab legs!!! Finger licking good.
We have always had a fantastic meal and excellent service at this wonderful restaurant in High Springs. The outdoor dining is very nice. The music is just right, kept at a level that allows conversation. The perfect spot after enjoying the "great outdoors" in this area. I look forward to returning soon!
Absolutely loved the Great Outdoors Restaurant! The food was superb. The pickles alone are worth going there for and I'm not even a big pickle person. Jules was our wonderful server. We will be back with our grandchildren in a very short while. Really enjoyed the outside dining area and would love to hear some of the live musicians. Every time we come up to see the grandchildren I want to make a trip to The Great Outdoors Restaurant ❤❤❤❤❤.
