Gave my deposit of $100 on July 13th. Was told it's a total of $367 left owed. I pulled in today July 23rd and gave the remainder and then was told it was another $60 per month because we have our 3 year old daughter with us, making it a total of 3 people. I asked what the $60 was for because I was already paying my electric consumption per month. They replied with "water and sewage". I told them I have a house of 6 that only costs me $22 a month so explain to me how you can justify $60 for ONE extra toddler.
I then got attitude and was told "it's our policy". So needless to say I am not staying here ever.
It looked like something out of deliverance. I would not send my ex wife to stay there and God knows she needs it.
This place was nice. Your pets are welcomed with open arms . The owner linda is great. Laundry on site. Big bath house. Swimming pool. And total peace and quiet. Lots of pine trees and country all around. Cons: lots are small. Lots of sand ( imagine that in Florida huh) but either you get shade or grass in Florida... that's just how it seems to work out. It was getting a little nerv racking all in the camper to say the least but we dealt with it for the peace and quiet. Don't ever go camping in fl without bug spray by the way. Same is true here of course.
It's a very nice camp ground. Loved it. Would go again if in the area. We were allowed to actually camp at this camp ground . Where as alot of camp grounds anymore are like military bases with rules and regulations. The pool was always open until around 10 pm . you can even bring your horses here. We don't have horses but it's allowed. And packed by morning every night!@!
Small RV park off I-75, north of Gainesville. Dirt sites. Shade trees, country setting. Pool and outdoor covered laundry facilities. Near Ginnie Springs (scuba, swimming, camping) and O'Leno State Park. Shopping and restaurants in nearby High Springs. No cable, but there was good wifi at sites close to the office. Not fancy - but a nice, quiet RV park right off the highway. Friendly management.
We only stayed for one night in a tent and it was super peaceful and relaxing. Super nice owners/staff and very accommodating. We loved the friendly dogs running around too! The facilities were in great condition! We would stay there forever if we could and will definitely be coming back!
