Not much parking here, only 4 slots but we just put in our kayaks here and shuttled our vehicles to Rum Island park. It was a great starting point for our paddle. The river was low when we were here and there were lots of rocks but it was a fun paddle and we will probably go again next year.
Very nice 3 mile paddle up stream to the end. Did see a couple of gators on the shore.
My sweetie and I stop here and eat lunch every so often and watch the beautiful river flow by. Very tranquil. There isn't a lot of room to park as it's not any bigger than a dead end street is. There is plenty of shade and if you're so inclined, you can walk into the water to cool off or launch your kayak or canoe.
Nice place to stop and have lunch. It's off the beaten path, so there is not a lot of traffic. The ramp itself is a bit shallow for anything big but is perfect for small boats or kyaks.
